The J.T.B I Can Do All Things Scholarship was established in 2018 by Pryor House Inc. (PHI). This scholarship serves to memorialize Ms. Joyce T. Brown who served as the founders of PHI. Through this scholarship, PHI will provide scholarship opportunity to qualified students to help ensure the continuity of the True Entrepreneur and Human Service professionals.
- Duration of the award: One time Scholarship expires one year after award date.
- Qualified applicants must be graduating seniors of a public or private high school in the Cities of Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights and the surrounding counties of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, and Prince George and plan to attend an accredited 2-year or 4-year community college, college or university in the State of Virginia.
- Personal Statement Topic: How will you utilize your entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation to achieve your goals for the future and how will this contribution to your educational expenses make a difference.
- Awarded Based on, financial need, academic achievement/improvement, essay written/video.
- High school Sr.
Plan to attend VA college/university.
Pursue studies in Home Services field.
